Bukit Lawang is a small tourist village on the banks of the Bahorok river in the province of North Sumatra, Indonesia. Brown Bamboo Bukit Lawang Trekking is a website that takes tourists to tour the rainforests of Gunung Leuser National Park in collaboration with local communities and experienced English-speaking guides licensed from the government of the Indonesian Tourist Guides Association (HPI : Himpunan Pramuwisata Indonesia) which can protect the Gunung Leuser National Park and endangered animals that are almost extinct. We prioritize service to guests of all types of tours and are ready to take you to see what you want such as wildlife, animals, bird species, nature, adventure and other tours. And we will welcome all types of tours and activities you want, whether guests who come as a group, family or a backpacker because tourist guest is our special guest. We set aside 5% of the tour price to help fund education for underprivileged children and those without parents.

This the one of the last places on earth where you can still see Sumatran orangutans, Thomas Leaf monkeys, macaques, gibbons, hornbill and many more exotic animals and plants in their natural habitats. The National Park is also home to the Sumatran tiger, elephants, and other endangered species typical of this ecosystem.We are specialists for educational treks and tours,ecological and very responsible of your journey.We have standard treks and expedition trek but can also design itineraries based around your free time and special interests.

We try to keep a groups small but can also serve bigger groups with the help of extra guides.The minimum number is 3 people for the Treks and Tours.If you travel alone or on a tight budget,we can find join a group for you with others travelers which may help for the cost cause we are very flexible to arrange the tour as you wish.
